All anesthetics are provided by Board Certified M.D. Anesthesiologists. These individuals are fully trained medical doctors who have done further training (4-5 years beyond medical school) in the subspecialty of anesthesia. They have also undergone the difficult process of certification. A M.D. anesthesiologist is fully experienced and trained in the specialty of general anesthesia . These specialists administer anesthetics for open heart surgery one day and the next give the anesthetic for a cosmetic procedure.
